Applying Value Added Tax Certificates (VAT Certificate) Dubai - UAE

VAT and Tax Certificates VAT UAE will be issued by the Ministry of Finance UAE for government entities, private sector organizations, small businesses and individuals in United Arab Emirates - UAE.

Following certificates will be issued by the UAE government: -
Value Added Tax (VAT) Certificate
Tax (VAT) Domicile Certificate

Value Added Tax Certificate (VAT Certificate - UAE) will be issued for government entities, Private companies and individuals to claim their tax exemptions for Value Added Tax (VAT) in various countries around the globe. To get more details on this please click here.

Required Documents for VAT Certificate
Letter signed by the authorized signatory
Copy of decree & act of incorporation

Tax Domicile Certificate, the countries having agreements of avoidance of double taxation with UAE will be able to claim exemptions from charge of Value Added Tax (VAT), and for them to be able to take advantage of agreements for double taxation avoidance signed by the UAE. Required Documents For Individuals:
        Copy of passport
        Copy of valid Residential Identity
        A certified copy of (residential) lease agreement
        Source of income/Salary certificate
        A validated 6-months bank statement
        Residency report of stay (number of days) from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs.
        Tax forms (if any) from the country where the certificate will be submitted

Required Documents For Government:
        A letter (request) signed by the authorised signatory
        A copy of the decree and act of incorporation

Required Documents For Companies
        A copy of the valid trade license and partners' attachment
        Establishment contract certified by official authorities (if it is not a Sole Company).
        A copy of the company’s owners/partners/directors' passports
        Copy of the company’s owners / partners / directors'/ sole proprietors IDs
        Copy of the organization's owners/partners/directors' residence permits (visa)
        A certified copy of the audited financial accounts
        A validated 6-months bank statement
        Certified copy of the lease/ rent agreement
        Tax forms (if any) from the country in which the certificate is to be submitted.

What is Reverse Charge Mechanism : VAT in GCC, Dubai, Saudi Arabia This charge is applicable on the imported of goods or services imported from outside the GCC countries this is called Reverse Charge Mechanism.
